Your portfolio, made clear, all in one place, under control and without signing up.
Record your buys, sells and dividends, and Monilen shows you what your portfolio is worth, how much you have put in, how much you have gained and how it is allocated. Everything is calculated and stored in your browser.
Free · No account · Nothing to install · What Monilen is and is not
What would you like to do with Monilen?
Search for any feature, question or term and we will take you straight there: importing from your broker, recording dividends, tax, your mortgage, what the Sharpe ratio is…
The search runs in your browser: what you type is neither stored nor sent anywhere.
In a nutshell
What is Monilen?
A free website for tracking your investment portfolio: shares, ETFs, funds, bonds, crypto, cash and fixed-term deposits on a single dashboard. There are no accounts and no data server: your portfolio lives in your browser and is not sent to anyone.
- What it is for
- Tracking the value, performance, return, dividends and allocation of your portfolio, and planning, with your own assumptions, how much you need and when you might get there.
- Price
- Free. No paid plans and no advertising.
- Sign-up
- Not needed. Open the website and get started.
- Your data
- Only in your browser. You can export it as CSV or JSON and delete it whenever you like.
- Prices
- Official and free sources: the ECB, public data from crypto exchanges and your own free Twelve Data or Finnhub key.
- What it is not
- It does not provide financial, investment or tax advice, and it does not recommend buying, selling or holding anything.
How it works
How do I get started?
Three steps and no sign-up form.
-
01
Add your transactions
Enter your buys, sells and dividends, or import a CSV. Monilen looks up the asset and its currency.
-
02
Monilen fetches the prices
It looks up prices and exchange rates by sending only the asset’s code, and values everything in euros.
-
03
Follow your progress
Come back whenever you like: your Overview is waiting with today’s value, what has changed and your metrics.
Tracking
What can you see about your portfolio?
Your portfolio at a glance: what it is worth today, what you put in and what the markets have done.
- Daily performance of its value, with contributions set against gains
- Holdings, transactions, and dividends received and expected
- Allocation by asset type, sector, currency and country, with a map
Analysis
Which metrics does it calculate?
The same ones professionals use, explained in plain language. Each one links to its definition in the glossary.
- Time-weighted return (TWR) and money-weighted return (IRR)
- Volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, maximum drawdown and VaR
- Comparison with a benchmark, beta and alpha
Planning
When could you reach your goal?
Your plan works out, with your own assumptions, how much you need and when you might get there. It works without a portfolio and, if you already track one in Monilen, it fills in with your data.
- Full net worth: investments, home and other assets, minus mortgage and loans
- Financial independence and retirement in three scenarios, in today’s euros
- ‘Mortgage’ with the ECB’s Euribor, ‘Overpay the mortgage or invest’ and ‘Inflation’ with the CPI from the INE
Calendar & data
What is happening in your portfolio this week?
A calendar with everything that has a date and the official data that affects you, always with its source and date.
- Dividends, coupons, interest, maturities and earnings from your companies
- Mortgage rate reviews, tax deadlines and ECB and Federal Reserve meetings, which you can export to your calendar
- Official data: ECB interest rates, Euribor, inflation, unemployment, GDP and BOE notices
Transparency
Where does the data come from?
From official and free sources. Only the asset or series code goes out to the internet; quantities and amounts never do.
- Exchange rates and Euribor from the European Central Bank; CPI and house price index from the INE (Spain’s National Statistics Institute)
- Official data from Eurostat, the BOE, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the World Bank and the OECD
- Crypto from the public APIs of Binance and Coinbase
- Shares and ETFs with your own free Twelve Data or Finnhub key
Your data
Where is my data stored?

- A clear warning: if you clear your browser data, your portfolio is deleted
- A button to delete everything in Settings
No sign-up, no cookies, no trackers. Your portfolio never leaves your browser.
- 0accounts to create
